Hello! I'm Emma Rae Gerwen.
I believe in capturing the moment uninterrupted, simply documenting what I see around me.
Coming from a line of photographers, my father and his father before him, and as a quiet observer in most aspects of life, I am well aware of how to blend into the background and capture the smallest moments in life. I’ve been behind a camera since my early teen years, and have developed a craving for stunning lighting, decisive moments and beautiful events in one’s life. I am an alumna from the University of Missouri-Columbia now based in the greater Chicago-land area. I have worked as a staff photographer, photo editor and studio photographer. I can’t wait for you to see my work!
